H.A.C.K. Facilities for our - horses, ponies, donkey's, and other animals
When H.A.C.K. moved onto the site near the Alyn Waters Park in 1995 there were no facilities what so ever, no water, no electricity, no buildings, just two very large fields. We had to move from our rented yard on Darland Lane in Rossett after it was all sold off for building . The owner gave us 18 months to find a new site. We were approached by Head of Parks (Wrexham Maelor Borough Council or Wrexham County as it is known by now) and after numerous meetings, a lot of negotiations and a great many months we finally had our new site on a very long lease. So the hard work began

H.A.C.K. is set in a small valley surrounded by the bluebell woods and the river Alyn
So after 25 years on site we have the most fabulous Stable Yard, Water and Electricity, Facilities for the volunteers, Barns for storing hay, several field shelters, post and rail fencing. An Education Unit, Isolation Block for incoming cases. A menage. and the beginning's of our wildlife garden. We have a3.5 tonne horse box, a tractor and other farmyard equipment
